I began this large-scale visual journal in mid July this summer. Each panel is 50″x170″ on Stonehenge paper with kaolin clay. In this project I am exploring the dualities that exist in nature throughout our evolution both past and present, reflecting on many of the threads of content from my Butler museum show in 2008 “Becoming Human”. I am working in a large restored church, St. Josephats Hall, which was restored, owned and operated by Alenka Banco on 33rd St. in Cleveland, OH. The space is open to me once again for the month of January, so I have resumed where I left off and hoping to finish panels 3, 4 and create 4 more over the next month.
